# Sort product collections by publish date

One of the limitations of Shopify Collections is that, while you can sort them by product creation date, you can't sort them by the publish date. That's what this flow enables. you to do:

1. [**Buy Template - $100**](https://buy.stripe.com/eVadSk9Xx3aLcHmdRk)\
   Once you complete the purchase, you'll get a link to the .flow file template to import into your Shopify account in the Flow app.<br>
2. **Upload the template into your flow app**\
   Just download and upload the .flow file<br>
3. **Set up and install a custom app**\
   Once you do this, it will give you an Access Token you can use<br>
4. **Add your Access Token in**\
   Copy your access token into the Send HTTP request step\
   \

5. **All done**\
   Now you can test it out

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://kalenj.gitbook.io/templates/sort-product-collections-by-publish-date.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
